As time goes by, and cars get older, the number of original harnesses that have problems like this is only going to increase. It’s good to be mindful and keep a lookout for problems like this.

I’m talking more about making a decision when looking at a harness that is already installed, as to whether it is worth trying to repair that harness and make it good or if it is better to wipe the slate clean and start with a fresh new harness.

So, what is the best way to make sure your vehicle is as hassle free as possible, while you still reap the benefits of using LPG?

We did an installation for a customer running dual fuel (petrol and LPG), plus he wanted to run two boost levels. He wanted two switches on the dash to achieve these actions. One to switch between the two fuels, and the other to switch between high boost and low boost.
We sourced two switches that looked very similar to the original switches in the vehicle. Which by itself would have probably been good enough for the customer. But..
